valentines and early bday presents

nanna sent rocking horse for valentines day. just like almost everything else hudson enjoys... he is very focused


grandma buh sent a buggy. weather has been great the last week, upper 50s and sunny. hudson is a safe driver, 10 and 2 on the wheel. likes to honk at other cars to warn them of speeding baby.



got to play in the grass for the first time. had fun pulling it up and tasting it.





laser pointer with stig - this was his first time seeing the laser pointer (was lost in cat toy basket for a long time). who knew it would entertain both of them.



otter pop mess - he had been chewing on otter pops for teething purposes. unfortunately his bite is a little to strong now and he chewed right through it. don't listen to kelley, he'll have more otter pops as soon as the grandmas come to visit.

1st month of every tuesday is $2 day at washington park zoo. kelley and hudson went w/ moms and babies from their play group. hudson enjoyed a few animals but was mainly excited to see all the babies. it was a surprisingly sunny and warm february day, hudson borrowed some shades from one of his friends.


couple days ago he started to do more of the typical baby crawl. he still does a lot of belly crawl since he's so fast at it.



he likes to roll the balls and then crawl after them. note that our floor is not quite level.

taking a few small steps to get to dad. he can stand on his own, but only if he doesn't realize he's standing on his own. once he realizes nothing is holding on he falls or cries. still getting close to walking... mom and dad only somewhat excited about that.

had playgroup at our house this week. fyi- once you get an otter pop out for one teething baby, everybody has to have one!

baby nalea with otter pop. this is hudson's "girlfriend". although, she is kind of a flirt and is everyone's girlfriend as she is the only girl who comes to group with consistency.
the happy, otter pop chewin' couple. if you get a close up on hudson, you will notice his extremely pink cheeks from frozen icy treat. need i mention for those of you who would worry, we didn't open up the pops. they only got to chew on the plastic. they don't know what they're missing...yet.
