we rented a small house that's about 5 min walk to the beach, nice view of water and islands (the grey house at end of road)

he likes looking out the window at dog across road and boys playing below. also enjoys putting his easter eggs through the slats
first day was nice but overcast. 2nd day kelley's friend from new zealand hope & her family visited for the day. they're visiting hawaii for 2 weeks same time we're here. fun day at the beach with them, a lot more sun today.
hudson has no fear of the water, swim classes paying off so far.
sitting in a hole that jed, mckenzie and harry dug for him. ate a little sand, got a little saltwater in his mouth, seemed to enjoy the entire beach experience.

more to come, we're here till friday night. then a long, depressing red eye home to Portland. Wish rest of family and friends could be here too to enjoy the sun!

Sounds like the perfect way to experience Hawaii with Hudson. good thing its gorgeous here now, too-- only lacks little feets! n
